Neri, (Va.). A young man from Vadsi near Neri in Chimur taluka learned line repair work in Nagpur and came to the village Vadsi to construct a house a month ago. On Sunday, he was killed when his friend and he touched a high voltage power line while he and he were in the village repairing the line due to a fault in the line at Khatoda Shetshiwar. The name of the dead youth is Vinod Shivdas Dadmal (27 years resident of Vadsi Dist. Chimur). This incident happened on Sunday February 11 at 10 am.
Vinod was always doing the repair work of the small and big lines of the village on the public pole of the village. But today, Vinod suddenly got electrocuted when he touched a live star, in which he died on the spot. Meanwhile, the dead body was taken to Upazila Rogunalya Chimur for autopsy. Police Patil from Chaware, Khatoda Vadsi attended the spot. Chimur Police is conducting further investigation.
